San Pedro girl kidnapped, sexually assaulted in Redondo Beach

A teenage girl was abducted Wednesday morning in an alley near Peck Park in San Pedro, driven to Redondo Beach where she was sexually assaulted in a parking garage of an apartment complex on the 800 block of Catalina Ave. Detectives look for evidence near garage.

Detectives are looking for the "brazen" perpetrator, described by the girl as a black man in his late 30 s who was about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 160 to 170 pounds.
